Copyright & DMCA Policy

A. Albert Memories & Media LLC respects intellectual property rights and complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and equivalent laws worldwide.

1. Shelf Talk AI Reads Does Not Host Copyrighted Books

Shelf Talk AI Reads is a reading hub. We do not host, sell, stream, or distribute copyrighted books, audiobooks, or publisher content. When you choose to read or listen to a title, you are redirected to your own account on the appropriate platform (Kindle, Audible, Apple Books, Google Play Books, Spotify, Libby, Libro.fm, Standard Ebooks, Librivox, and others). All licensing, payment, and delivery is handled by those platforms.

2. User-Generated Content

Users post reviews, quotes, stories, posts, comments, journal entries, and uploaded covers. Users are solely responsible for ensuring they have the right to post any content they submit. Posting copyrighted material you do not own or have permission to share is prohibited.

3. Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice

If you believe content on Shelf Talk AI Reads infringes your copyright, send a written notice to our designated agent at info@aalbertmemories.com or via the Support page, including:

  • Your physical or electronic signature.
  • Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed.
  • Identification of the material that is infringing and its location on Shelf Talk AI Reads (URL).
  • Your contact information (address, phone number, email).
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are authorized to act on the copyright owner's behalf.

4. Counter-Notice

If you believe your content was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notice through the Appeals page with the same identifying information and a statement under penalty of perjury that the removal was a mistake or misidentification.

5. Repeat Infringers

We terminate the accounts of users determined to be repeat infringers.

6. False Claims

Knowingly making a material misrepresentation in a DMCA notice or counter-notice may result in liability under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f).
