Community Guidelines

Shelf Talk AI Reads is a home for readers, writers, and book lovers. These guidelines keep our community safe, kind, and welcoming.

1. Respect Other People

  • No bullying, harassment, doxxing, or stalking.
  • No hate speech, discrimination, or threats based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or serious disease.
  • No coordinated attacks against authors, users, or communities.

2. Prohibited Content

You may not post:

  • Sexually explicit imagery, non-consensual intimate imagery, or content that sexualizes minors.
  • Graphic violence, gore, or shock content.
  • Illegal content, malware, scams, or fraud.
  • Spam, unsolicited promotion, or automated engagement.
  • Copyrighted material you don't own or have permission to share.
  • Harmful misinformation, especially about health or elections.

3. Book Discussions

Honest reviews, criticism, and debate are welcome. Review bombing, targeted harassment campaigns against authors, and impersonation are not.

4. Fake Engagement

No bots, fake reviews, fake followers, sock-puppet accounts, or artificial engagement of any kind.

5. Minor Safety

We have zero tolerance for content that endangers minors. Grooming, sexualization of minors, or predatory behavior results in immediate permanent ban and reporting to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) or local authorities as required by law.

6. AI & Automated Content

Content generated by our AI assistant is subject to these guidelines. Do not use AI to produce prohibited content or to impersonate real people without consent.

7. Reporting

Use the report button on any post, comment, profile, review, story, or quote to flag violations. Reports are reviewed by our moderation team; urgent safety issues can also be sent to info@aalbertmemories.com.

8. Enforcement

Depending on severity, history, and intent, we may: remove content, add warning labels, mute replies, restrict features, suspend the account temporarily, or permanently ban the user. You may appeal enforcement actions via the Appeals page.
